17. Johanna Catherine HIRTLE
(118) was born in 1767. She was
baptized on 5 Apr 1767.(119) I suspect
this may be the marriage in Shankle's online file between "Jane Hirtle"
and "Hughes Colville" on 1786-11-08 in SJAL. Wright, _Planters and
Pioneers_, lists a James Colving (Colvill in 1752) who arrived in Halifax in
1749, a taylor (sic) on the _Everly_. In 1752 he had 3 males and 2 females above
16; it seems likely one of the boys was Hughes.
