He was married to (Marie) Sophia Elizabeth HENN on 3 Nov 1816 in Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. ⁽¹¹⁾ Shankle says 5 November, not 3 November, and gives the name as "Mary Sophie Henn."
