He was baptized on 17 Apr 1786 in Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.⁽²²⁾ He died on 26 Apr 1840. ⁽³¹²⁾ He was a Miller. He resided in Newcombville, Nova Scotia. He was married to Anna Maria RHULAND in 1809. (Johann\John) Michael HIRTLE and Anna Maria RHULAND had the following children:
