She was married to George Alexander HARTLING (son of (John) Jacob HARTLING and Catherine SITEMAN) on 25 Dec 1871.(782) George Alexander HARTLING(783) was born on 25 May 1842.(784) He died on 11 Oct 1924.(785) He was a Shipwright 1840s to 1870s? in Beaver Harbour, Halifax, Nova Scotia, CA. (786) Philip Hartling wrote:

"His [Jacob Hartling, b.1801] sons were also ship carpenters. A schooner owned and undoubtedly built by Jacob, John, and Alexander Hartling was the _Speculator_, of 99.92 tons. It was constructed at Beaver Harbour in 1867. Another vessel built by Jacob Hartling, Junior was the _J. W. Young_: [description of the J.W. Young from the Evening Express, Halifax, 28 Feb. 1870, p. 2, follows]" He was a Carpenter.(787) He resided in Port Dufferin, Halifax, Nova Scotia.(788) Lydia Ann MACLEOD and George Alexander HARTLING had the following children:
