He was christened on 25 Aug 1844 in Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. (22) He died on 2 Oct 1924. "aged 80 yrs., 3 mos." He was buried in East LaHave, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.
child371 iii. Mary Ann HIRTLE(480) was born on 15 Sep 1848.(22) She was christened on 1 Apr 1849 in Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. (22) Shankle gives the name as Maria Anna, and the parents as "John & Eliz" (for the other two children, he had used "Johannes & Eliz.) She was born on 5 Sep 1849. This date is from Thoresen. Is Shankle correct? She died in 1850.
