Aubrey Hartlen Sr was my grandfather and was consider the strongest man in Milton
in his time. He was also famous for making kayak nets, a trade he passed on
to my
uncle Arnold Hartlen/Hirtle. Also this is where our surname changed from Hirtle
to
Hartlen.
He was married to Pearl Ellen WAMBOLDT in
Milton. Aubrey Clarence HIRTLE and Pearl Ellen WAMBOLDT
